Applications	Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Western Blot: 1:5,000-1:10,000 detects a-Synuclein recombinant protein and a-Synuclein in Alzheimer’s diseased human whole brain lysates. a-Synuclein recombinant protein was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti--Synuclein (1:10,000 dilution). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Immunohistochemistry	This antibody has been reported by an independent laboratory to detect a-Synuclein in human midbrain tissue sections (1).
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
