ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: 1:2,000-1:10,000 detects Synuclein recombinant protein. b-Synuclein recombinant protein was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-b-Synuclein (1:5,000 dilution). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system. Detects b-Synuclein in high salt extracts of normal human temporal cortex, mouse brain, and rat brain (1,2).
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
