| Catalog # | T0750 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml detects Talin in a human A431 RIPA cell lysate. Non-stimulated A431 cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with T0750 (0.5ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system. | | Immunocytochemistry/Immunohistochemistry | 10ug/ml of a previous lot showed positive immunostaining for Talin in Ref-52 cells fixed with 4% paraformaldhyde and permea-bilized with 0.25% Triton X-100. A previous lot of this antibody detected talin in frozen sections. | | Immunoprecipitation | 4ug detects Talin from a human A431 RIPA lysates. | | Positive Control Included | A0001-50: Non-stimulated A431 cell lysate. Use 20ug per lane for minigels. | | Storage and Stability | | | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG1 | | Clone No | 0.T.146 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Human | | Concentration | 1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.05% sodium azide. | | Purity | Purified by Ion-exchange chromatography. | | Immunogen | Human Talin. | | Specificity | Recognizes human Talin at ~ 200kD.
