| Human TARC is a recently discovered protein belonging to the beta-chemokine (C-C) family of cytokines, secreted by activated monocytes, thymic and lymph node dendritic. It is chemotactic towards activated T cells (Th2 subset) which express express CCR4 but ineffective on monocytes.
