| TdT is a nuclear enzyme that catalyzes the random addition of deoxynucleotide triphosphate to the 3’-OH groups of single-stranded DNA (1). A 58kD immunoreactive peptide has been detected in human and mouse lymphoblastoid cell lines (2). Also, a 58kD-60kD major peptide has been seen on Western Blots of mouse, rat, calf, feline and chicken thymus extracts (1). Elevated activity of TdT has been shown in neoplasms derived from immature lymphoid cells, lymphoblastic lymphomas (LL), acute lymphoblastic leukemias (ALL), lymphoid blast crisis of chronic myeloid leukemias (CML), and lymphomas (1-5). Rabbit anti-TdT may be used to distinguish LL from other lymphomas that do not express TdT. | | | Catalog # | T2750-09 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
