| Timeless plays a role in DNA damage checkpoint responses. Down-regulation of Timeless in human cells seriously compromises replication and intra-S checkpoints, indicating an intimate connection between the circadian cycle and the DNA damage checkpoints that is in part mediated by the Timeless protein (referenced from entrez gene). | | | Catalog # | T5470-04 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 3 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Host | Rabbit | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~1mg/ml | | Form | Tris-citrate/phosphate buffer, pH 7 to 8 | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | This antibody maps to a region between residue 1120 and 1170 of human Timeless using the numbering given in entry NP_003911.1 (GeneID 8914). | | Specificity | Species Crossreactivity: Human.
