| Tissue Factor (TF) is the membrane receptor for coagulation factors VII and VIIa and is a cell surface initiator of coagulation. It is the major molecule of this type and is critical for controlling hemostasis, thrombosis and inflammation. TF is not generally present in or on cells within the vasculature, but following vascular injury, blood can come into contact with TF expressed by extravascular cells, resulting in activation of the coagulation cascade. | | | Catalog # | T5575-06 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Dot and Western Blot, ELISA, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry and Flow Cytometry.
