Tissue Factor (TF) is the membrane receptor for coagulation factors VII and VIIa and is a cell surface initiator of coagulation. It is the major molecule of this type and is critical for controlling hemostasis, thrombosis and inflammation. TF is not generally present in or on cells within the vasculature, but following vascular injury, blood can come into contact with TF expressed by extravascular cells, resulting in activation of the coagulation cascade.

Applications	Suitable for use in Dot and Western Blot, ELISA, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry and Flow Cytometry. Not suitable for Neutralization Studies. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions	Western Blot: 1:1000
	Immunohistochemistry: Frozen and paraffin sections.
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
