| TFPI-2 is a secreted protein that inhibits several serine proteases. The amino acid sequence of mouse TFPI-2 is 86%, 58% and 54% identical to that of rat, human/chimpanzee and canine. | | | Catalog # | T5576-21 | | Hybridoma | Produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a rat immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant mouse tissue factor pathway inhibitor 2 (rmTFPI-2; Accession # NP_033390, aa 23-211). | | Applications | Western Blot: This antibody can be used at 1-2ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse TFPI-2. Using a colorimetric detection system, the detection limit for rmTFPI-2 is approximately 10 ng/lane under non-reducing conditions. Use of this antibody under reducing conditions is not recommended. Chemiluminescent detection will increase sensitivity by 5 to 50 fold. | | Immunoprecipitation: This antibody was used at a concentration of 25ug/ml to immunoprecipitate rmTFPI-2 from conditioned cell culture medium. | | Direct ELISA: This antibody can be used at 0.5-1.0ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse TFPI-2. The detection limit for rmTFPI-2 is approximately 5 ng/well. | | Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application. | | Storage and Stability | Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
