| Chemokine receptors are specialized proteins that function at the surface of cells, and enable chemokines to trigger internal cellular processes. Chemokines and their receptors play a pivotal role in lymphocyte trafficking, recruiting and recirculation. Chemokines act through seven transmembrane G protein-coupled receptors. The chemokine system is increasingly recognized to play an important role in lymphocyte biology. | | | Catalog # | T8050-10 | | Human Toll Like Receptor-2 (TLR2) is also described asToll/Interluekin-1 Receptor-Like Gene 4 (TIL4). | | Applications | | | Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. | | Recommended Dilution | ELISA: 1:50,000-1:100,000 | | Immunohistochemistry | 1:250-1:500 (Human spleen). | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Isotype | IgG | | Host | Goat | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~2mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 1mg/ml BSA, 0.1% sodium azide. | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Synthetic peptide CLEIDASDLQSYEPKSLKSIQNVSHLI corresponding to aa 179-204 of human TLR2. | | Specificity | Recognizes human TLR2.
