| The human Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2) is a 90kD type 1 transmembrane protein that is primarily expressed by peripheral blood monocytes. TLR2 is reported to respond to a diverse range of bacterial cell wall components, mediating the innate immune response in co-operation with MD-2. | | | Catalog # | T8050-11D4 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:10; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG1 | | Clone No | 10B1267 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~0.1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 1% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide. Labeled with Biotin. | | Purity | Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Human TLR2. | | Specificity | Recognizes the human Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2). Blocks IL-6 cytokine production in response to ara-lipoarabinomannan (araLAM) and tripalmitoyl cysteinyl lipopeptide (Pam3CSK4). Does not inhibit the production of cytokines induced by zymosan stimulation. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
