| The human Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2) is a 90kD type 1 transmembrane protein that is primarily expressed by peripheral blood monocytes. TLR2 is reported to respond to a diverse range of bacterial cell wall components, mediating the innate immune response in co-operation with MD-2. | | | Catalog # | T8050-11D6 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:10; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at least 12 months at 4°C. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG1 | | Clone No | 10B1269 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Human | | Concentration | Not determined | | Form | Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.4, 1% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide. Labeled with R-Phycoerythrin (PE). Reconstitute with 1ml sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. | | Purity | Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Human TLR2. | | Specificity | Recognizes the human Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2). Blocks IL-6 cytokine production in response to ara-lipoarabinomannan (araLAM) and tripalmitoyl cysteinyl lipopeptide (Pam3CSK4). Does not inhibit the production of cytokines induced by zymosan stimulation. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
