| TLR3 is a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family and functions as a receptor for double-stranded (ds) RNA. TLRs are expressed on the cell surface and the endocytic compartment and recognize pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) that are expressed on infectious agents. They also initiate cell signalling to induce production of cytokines necessary for the innate immunity and subsequent adaptive immunity. | | | Catalog # | T8050-20P | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Hybridoma | NS-1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG1 | | Clone No | 10B1270 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~0.5mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.09% sodium azide. | | Purity | Purified | | Immunogen | Ba/F3 cells transfected with human TLR3. | | Specificity | Recognizes human TLR3.
