Immunogen	Rabbit Thymocytes.
Specificity	Reacts with T cells. Recognizes >90% thymocytes and 40-45% mesenteric lymph node cells. The antibody immunoprecipitates a 67kD protein from thymocytes. Little evidence of B-cell activity. This antibody was initially reported as recognizing rabbit CD5 (1), but does not bind to rabbit CD5 transfectants. Known rabbit CD5 antibodies also show binding to most B lymphocytes (2), which are not labelled by this clone.
