TPX2 is a microtubule cross-linking protein involved in spindle formation. During mitosis it is strictly associated with the mitotic spindle, whereas during phases S and G2, it is diffusely distributed throughout the nucleus.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Western Blot: 1:1000 detects a band at ~100kD Immunofluorescence (IC): 1:1000 Flow Cytometry: 1:1000 Immunoprecipitation: 1:10-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Recombinant segment of the C-terminal domain of human TPX2. Cellular Localization: Nuclear. Staining of non-mitotic cells and cell cycle-dependent changes in abundance peaking at G2/M phase.
Form
Supplied as a liquid. No preservative added.

Serum
Specificity
Rcognizes human TPX2. Species Crossreactivity: mammal, mouse, rat and porcine
