TRAIL is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. | | | Catalog # | T8180-15 | | Amino Acid Sequence | The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Arg-Glu-Arg-Gly-Pro. | | Biological Activity | Recombinant Human TRAIL is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The activity is determined by the ability to induce apoptotic cell death in TRAIL-sensetive U343MG cells, ED50 for this effect is 1-3 ng/ml. | | Storage and Stability | Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O, 0.1% HSA or BSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
