| Human Transforming Growth Factor beta2 (TGF- beta2) is stimulatory for cells of mesenchymal origin and inhibitory for cells of epithelial or neuroectodermal origin. Mature TGF- beta2 is a disulfide-linked homodimer of two chains composed of 112 aa residues each.
