| Trk is a family of neurotrophin receptors associated with both the central and peripheral nervous systems. It was first identified as an oncogene in human colon carcinoma, however, there are now three known members of the trk family | trkA, trkB, and trkC. Neurotrophins mediate signaling in neurons by activating trk. NGF, BDNF and NT4/5, and NT-3 are the preferred ligands for trkA, trkB, and trkC, respectively. |
| Applications | Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. |
| Recommended Dilution | Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml |
| Immunoprecipitation: 2-5ug/mg |
| Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin sections |
| Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. |
| Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
