| In clinical studies of new drugs, new methods of surgery are carried out on experimental animals. The effects of the new technologies on cardiac function and on cardiac myocyte viability can be important. The majority of the anti-cardiac Troponin I MAbs have wide specificity and recognize not only human cardiac Troponin I but also cardiac Troponin I from other species. Several combinations of MAbs were tested and could be used for quantitative detection of cardiac Troponin I in blood of different species. An assay utilizing T8665-14M as a capture and T8665-15E as detection gives equal response with antigens from different animal species.
