Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

ImmunogenNative troponin complex.
SpecificityReacts equally with free cardiac troponin I (cTnI) and with cTnI forming complexes with other troponin components (in the presence of 5mM EDTA). Recognizes an epitope located between amino acid residues 86 and 90 of cTnI. Not affected by heparin, phosphorylation, oxidation and troponin complex formation. Has no crossreaction with skeletal muscle troponin I.
