Microtubules, the major cytoskeletal elements found in all eukaryotic cells, consist of Tubulin, which is a dimer of two 55kD subunits alpha and beta. Microtubules play key roles in chromosome segregation in mitosis, intracellular transport, ciliary and flagellar bending, and structural support of the cytoskeleton.
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended DilutionImmunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:100 for 20 minutes. No special pretreatment is required for the immunohistochemical staining of formalin/paraffin tissues.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive ControlMAD109 cells, MCF-7 cells; Skin or lung
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
