Specifications

Human TNF is a 17kD factor produced by macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, CD4+ T cells and NK cells. A 26kD form of TNF is expressed as a membrane bound molecule. TNF is cytolytic and plays an important role in immune regulation. Dimers and trimers of TNF have been observed.

Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 6 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 1 month at 4 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
