Specifications

Tunicamycin is a mixture of homologuous nucleoside antibiotics. It is useful in glycoprotein research. It is an inhibitor of N-linked glycosylation and the formation of N-glycosidic protein-carbohydrate linkages. It causes the arrest cell cycle in late G1.
