| Tetanus Insensitive VAMP protein (Ti-VAMP)is a v-SNARE (soluble N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive fusion protein [NSF] attachment protein [SNAP] receptor), molecule involved in specific intracellular transports to the apical plasma membrane in epithelial cells, a tetanus neurotoxin-resistant pathway. Various combinations of SNARE proteins play an essential role in diverse intracellular membrane fusion pathways, including exocytosis.
