| VEGF is homodimeric, heparin-binding glycoprotein involved in both angiogenesis and vasculogenesis. VEGF is expressed as multiple alternately spliced isoforms of VEGF121, 165, 189 and 206. VEGF binds to the receptor tyrosine kinases VEGF R1 (Flt-1) and VEGF R2 (KDR/Flk-1) to activate signal transduction and regulate both physiological and pathological angiogenesis. | | | Catalog # | V2110-15V | | Source | Recombinant corresponding to aa207-371 from human VEGF165, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E.coli. | | AA Sequence | MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH APMAEGGGQN HHEVVKFMDV YQRSYCHPIE TLVDIFQEYP DEIEYIFKPS CVPLMRCGGC CNDEGLECVP TEESNITMQI MRIKPHQGQH IGEMSFLQHN KCECRPKKDR ARQENPCGPC SERRKHLFVQ DPQTCKCSCK NTDSRCKARQ LELNERTCRC | | Molecular Weight | ~21.3kD (MALDI-TOF) | | Endotoxin | ~1EU/ug | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
