| Bovine WC1 is a 215/300kD antigen expressed on the majority of gamma/delta T lymphocytes. These cells also express low levels of CD5, but are negative for other B and T cell markers. | | | Catalog # | W0481-74G | | The WC1 antigen is reported to be involved in a number of processes, including activation of gamma/delta T cells and the development of a Th1-biased acquired immune response. | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:10; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Hybridoma | NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG2a | | Clone No | 10F587 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Bovine | | Concentration | ~0.1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid, 1% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide. Labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC). | | Purity | Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Bovine lymphocytes. | | Specificity | Recognizes bovine WC1. Species Crossreactivity: sheep, goat. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
