| Mouse Wnt9b is a presumably secreted, glycosylated member of the Wnt family of developmental proteins. The 359aa mouse Wnt9b precursor contains a 336aa mature region with 24 conserved cysteines and one potential N-linked glycosylation site. Mature mouse Wnt9b shows 93% and 98% aa identity with mature human and rat Wnt9b, respectively, and 63% aa identity with Wnt9a. Wnt9b is expressed in late embryos and in adult kidney, with lesser amounts in brain and liver. |
