Test Principle
This BioAssay™ employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this BioAssay™ kit has been pre-coated with Erythromycin antigen. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Erythromycin specific antibody and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated anti-antibody. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between pre-coated Erythromycin and Erythromycin in standards or samples with the Erythromycin special antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of Erythromycin in the standards or samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Storage and Stability
Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
