This BioAssay™ employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this BioAssay™ kit has been pre-coated with Diethylsilbestrol. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Diethylsilbestrol specific antibody and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated anti-antibody. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between pre-coated Diethylsilbe strol and Diethylsilbestrol in standards or samples with the Diethylsilbestrol special antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develo ps in opposite to the amount of Diethylsilbestrol in the standards or samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured
