Gray-black to bluish-black, opalescent after autoclaving

Dissolve 37.75g in 900ml of ddH2O stirring gently. Adjust pH to 6.9 with 1N KOH. Add additional water to bring the solution to1L Heat to boiling with stirring to dissolve. Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50°C. Aseptically add 10ml sterile solution of L-Cysteine (4%). Mix and add inhibitor solutions if required. Dispense with agitation.

Store powdered media at RT. Stable for 12 months after receipt. Opened bottles should be capped tightly and kept in a dark, low humidity environment. Prepared media should be kept at 4°C and used within a short period of time.
