Polyomavirus enhancer-binding protein 2 beta subunit, PEA2-beta, PEBP2-beta, SL3-3 enhancer factor 1 subunit beta, SL3/AKV core-binding factor beta subunit

CBF binds to the core site, 5'-PYGPYGGT-3', of a number of enhancers and promoters, including murine leukia virus, polyomavirus enhancer, T-cell receptor enhancers, LCK, IL3 and GM-CSF promoters. CBFB enhances DNA binding by RUNX1.

Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-182 from full length human CBFB, fused to His-SUMO-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
