Protein produced in genetically engineered yeast cells as a fusion protein with human superoxide dismutase (SOD). It covers from Asp 166-Arg 440 of the HTLV-1 envelope protein (isolate ATK-1). The apparent MW is 46kD.

Storage and Stability

May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

≥ 90%; Purified by differential extraction and gel filtration.
