4-1BB LIGAND (TNFSF9, 4-1BBL, 4-1BB-L, Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 9) |
|
|
Description: TNFSF9, a type II transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the TNF superfamily, preferentially expressed by B cells, which acts as a ligand for CD137 (4-1BB ligand receptor/TNFRSF9). Interaction between 4-1BBL and its receptor acts as a co-stimulatory signal for T cell activation and expansion, and is involved in the generation of cytotoxic T cells (Tc) and in the process of antigen presentation. Expression of 4-1BBL by a variety of carcinoma cells, suggests a role for 4-1BBL in tumor cell-T cell interactions. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 0.5-2ug/ml Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: Goat Anti Rabbit IgG (H&L) HRP Sheep Anti Rabbit IgG Biotin Goat Anti Rabbit IgG (Fc) FITC, HRP Goat Anti Rabbit IgG (H&L) HRP Sheep Anti Rabbit IgG FITC Sheep Anti Rabbit IgG RPE Sheep Anti Rabbit IgG DyLight™488, DyLight™549, DyLight™649 Sheep Anti Rabbit IgG HRP Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile 100ul dH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
