Description: This gene encodes a protein belonging to the 14-3-3 family of proteins, members of which mediate signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. This highly conserved protein family is found in both plants and mammals. The encoded protein has been shown to interact with RAF1 and CDC25 phosphatases, suggesting that it may play a role in linking mitogenic signaling and the cell cycle machinery. Two transcript variants, which encode the same protein, have been identified for this gene. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:5000-1:20,000 Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5ug/ml Immunofluorescence: 1:100-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
