Acvr1c (Activin Receptor Type-1C, Activin Receptor Type IC, ACTR-IC, Activin Receptor-like Kinase 7, ALK-7, Alk7)
Description:
ALK7 or ACVR1C is a type I receptor for TGFB superfamily of signaling protein. Upon ligand binding, type I receptors phosphorylate cytoplasmic SMAD transcription factors, which then translocate to the nucleus and interact directly with DNA or in complex with other transcription factors.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 0.5-4ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
