CTF1 (Cardiotrophin-1, CT-1)
Description:
Human Cardiotrophin-1 (CT-1) is a member of the leukemia inhibitory/ciliary neurotrophic factor/Oncostatin M/interleukin-6/interleukin-11 family of cytokines. Cardiotrophin-1 affects cells through interaction with the gp 130 receptor subunit. Recombinant human Cardiotrophin-1 is a 22.5kD protein containing 200aa residues.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1-4ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
