Description:
Neurofilaments are type IV intermediate filament heteropolymers composed of light, medium, and heavy chains. Neurofilaments comprise the axoskeleton and they functionally maintain the neuronal caliber. They may also play a role in intracellular transport to axons and dendrites. This gene is a member of the intermediate filament family and is involved in the morphogenesis of neurons.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, ELISA.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:1000
Western Blot: 1:100~250
Immunofluorescence: 1:10~50
Immunohistochemistry: 1:10~50

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C with the addition of glycerol. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Do not freeze alkaline phosphatase conjugates which could result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity. Light sensitive.
