FABP7, CT (FABP7, BLBP, FABPB, MRG, Fatty acid-binding protein, brain, Brain lipid-binding protein, Brain-type fatty acid-binding protein, Fatty acid-binding protein 7, Mammary-derived growth inhibitor related)
Description:
FABP7 is a brain fatty acid binding protein. Fatty acid binding proteins (FABPs) are a family of small, highly conserved, cytoplasmic proteins that bind long-chain fatty acids and other hydrophobic ligands. FABPs are thought to play roles in fatty acid uptake, transport, and metabolism.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:1000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
