ANGPTL4 (Angiopoietin-like protein 4) mainly expressed in endothelial cells (hypoxia-induced). Regulates angiogenesis and modulates tumorigenesis and directly regulates lipid, glucose, and energy metabolism. Inhibits proliferation, migration, and tubule formation of endothelial cells and reduces vascular leakage.

Biological Activity:
Activates ERK phosphorylation in THP-1 cells.

Sequence:
Signal peptide and coiled-coil domain of human ANGPTL4 (aa 1-161) are fused at the C-terminus to a FLAG-tag.

Storage and Stability:
Short-term Storage: +4C
Long-term Storage: -20C
Working aliquots are stable for up to 3 months when stored at -20C.

Molecular Weight:
~18kD (SDS-PAGE)
Source: Human, HEK 293 cells
Purity: >90% (SDS-PAGE)
Form: Supplied as a liquid from a 0.2um-filtered solution in PBS, pH 7.2.
