Cell-permeable. A Hedgehog (Hh) signaling pathway antagonist. Inhibits Hh signaling downstream of Smo and Sufu at the level of Gli (IC = 5uM). GANT61 has also been shown to inhibit the in vitro proliferation of PANC1 and 22Rv1 cells which have elevated GLi11 levels and prevent the development of 22Rv1 tumors in mice.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with DMSO. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
