Description:
LAS1L is a nuclear protein essential for cell proliferation and ribosome synthesis; particularly the biogenesis of the 60S ribosomal subunits (1, 2). It is also required for maturation of the 28S rRNA (1). Depletion of LAS1L has shown to cause nucleolar disorganization and inhibit cell proliferation characterized by a p53-dependent G1 cell by cycle arrest (2).

Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: 1:10-100
Western Blot: 1:1000-10,000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
