Interferon Inducible T cell Alpha Chemokine (I-TAC), or CXCL11, expressed at high levels in leukocytes, pancreas and liver exposed to IFNa, B, and y. I-TAC is one of three chemokines known to bind the receptor CXCR3 (the two others being CXCL9 and CXCL10 (IP-10)) to act as a chemoattractant for IL-2 activated T cells. CXCL11 differs from the other CXCR3 ligands in that it has a higher receptor affinity, thus acts as a stronger agonist.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
