Description:
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intracellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, and White). This protein is a member of the GCN20 subfamily. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq]

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:500-1:1,000
ELISA: 1ug/ml-3ng/ml
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1.5ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Do not freeze R-Phycoerythrin conjugates. Light sensitive. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
