ABI1 (ABI1, ABL-1, ABL-interactor 1, E3BP1, EPS8 binding protein, NAP1BP, Nap1 binding protein, SSH3BP, SSH3BP1, Spectrin SH3 domain binding protein 1)
Description:
The protein encoded by this gene has been found to form a complex with EPS8 and SOS1, and is thought to be involved in the transduction of signals from Ras to Rac. In addition, the encoded protein may play a role in the regulation of EGF-induced Erk pathway activation as well as cytoskeletal reorganization and EGFR signaling. Several transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been found for this gene.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation. This is not recommended for Western Blot.
Other applications have not been tested

Recommended Dilutions:
Immunoprecipitation: 2-5ug/mg.
Opttimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:

May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
