ACADM, CT (Medium-chain Specific Acyl-CoA Dehydrogenase, Mitochondrial, MCAD) |
|
|
Description: ACADM encodes the medium-chain specific (C4 to C12 straight chain) Acyl-Coenzyme A dehydrogenase. The homotetramer enzyme catalyzes the initial step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway. Clinical phenotypes are associated with ACADM hereditary deficiency. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:32,000 Western Blot: 0.01-0.1ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded): 3.75ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
