ACADVL (Very Long-chain Specific Acyl-CoA Dehydrogenase, Mitochondrial, VLCAD, Vlcad) |
|
|
Description: Acyl-CoA dehydrogenase, very long chain (ACADVL) is a member of the acyl-CoA dehydrogenases family. ACADVL is an inner mitochondrial membrane protein that catalyzes the first step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway. A deficiency of ACADVL reduces myocardial fatty acid beta-oxidation and is associated with cardiomyopathy. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Control Peptide: A0193-31M Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
