|
|
Description: Acetyl-Coenzyme A acetyltransferase 1 (ACAT1) is a mitochondrial enzyme that catalyzes the formation of cholesterol esters from cholesterol and long chain fatty acyl-coenzyme A. ACAT1 may play an important role in the development of atherosclerosis due to cholesterol buildup in macrophage. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Control Peptide: A0219-91 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
