ACAT2 (Acetyl-CoA Acetyltransferase, Cytosolic, Cytosolic Acetoacetyl-CoA Thiolase) |
|
|
Description: Acetyl-Coenzyme A acetyltransferase 2 (ACAT2) is an enzyme involved in lipid metabolism. Patients with ACAT2 deficiency have shown severe mental retardation and hypotonus. The ACAT2 gene shows complementary overlapping with the 3 prime region of the TCP1 gene in both mouse and human. These genes are encoded on opposite strands of DNA, as well as in opposite transcriptional orientation. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Control Peptide: A0220-01Q Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
