Technical Data
Acidic Hair Keratin, K34 (KRT34, Keratin 34, HA4, Ha-4, Hair Keratin, Type I Ha4, hHa4, HHA4, HKA4, K34, Keratin, Type I Cuticular Ha4, Keratin-34, KRTHA4 hHa4)
Type I hair keratin is one of the two types of hair keratin. It is an acidic protein which heterodimerizes with type II hair keratins to form hair and nails.

Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:200. For enhancement of cortex staining, it is recommended to preincubate the fixed sections with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS for 1-5 minutes prior to first incubation step. Incubation time: 1 hour at RT
Western Blot (ECL): 1:2000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
