Technical Data
ACRP30 (Adipocyte Complement-related Protein of 30kD, Adiponectin, 30kD Adipocyte Complement-related Protein, Adipocyte, C1q and Collagen Domain-containing Protein, Adipose Most Abundant Gene Transcript 1 Protein, AdipoQ, apM1, Gelatin Binding Protein 28,
Adiponectin, also termed gelatin-binding protein-28 (GBP28), AdipoQ, ACP30 (Acrp30), or apM, is a major adipocyte-secreted adipokine which abundantly present in the circulation as three distinct oligomeric complexes: LMW (67kD), MMW (167kD) and HMW (300kD) adiponectin. Its levels are decreased in insulin resistant, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Conversely, elevation of circulating adiponectin concentrations can alleviate various vascular dysfunctions in animal models, suggesting this adipokine exerts vasculoprotective effects. In addition, adiponectin may also be of importance in the development and progression of several malignancies.

Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml
Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
