ACTH (Adrenocorticotropic Hormone, Adrenocorticotropin, Corticotropin) |

Description: ACTH may occur in the pituitary adenomas, medullary thyroid carcinomas; bronchial carcinoids, pancreatic islet cell tumors and gastric carcinoids. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:200 using ABC method. Dilute immediately before use with PBS or Tris. Suitable for frozen sections and paraffin embedded tissues without proteolytic treatment. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Pituitary Gland Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
